Yes! in a needlessly dramatic cry-for-help-type tactic I installed the Motivation - Daily quotes app, whose byline reads Positive reminders of the day. And don’t even start to judge me: with a rating of 4.8 stars from 172,367 ratings, it ranks 5th in the apple app store for Health and Fitness.
I know what you’re thinking: how could it possibly only have a score of only 4.8?
I’ll tell you how: by giving you quotes like Maya Angelou’s “Nothing will work unless you do” on the last day of the year when work has been at best intermittent - and trust me, that is still a euphemism.
So, yes, fuck you 2019! and fuck my phone!… which I guess given how much porn I consume on it, I basically do.
But then again without work and with the Motivation - Daily quotes app, I probably became a nicer, calmer, and more self aware person. Right?
